Westpoint Ltd is an Internet security company who commissioned Westhawk to develop software to check or scan company servers for vulnerabilities via the web.

The vulnerability scan was designed to test for all software anomalies, system misconfigurations, upgrades and general maintenance issues. If undetected these vulnerabilities can prove fatal for any business that relies upon its online presence or stores sensitive data on its servers that may be accessible to potential hackers.

Westhawk developed a loose coupled network that feeds a central database and has a reporting and an admin interface. The services vary but all include some form of reporting, a standard package would run the scanning service every month for twelve months to produce quality reports and safely store client data.
